Babcock Ranch Homes for Sale
America’s first solar-powered town, with resort-style amenities and a true small-town community.
Babcock Ranch is known as America’s first solar-powered town. It’s powered by an 870-acre solar farm, with solar tree charging stations around town and one of the country’s largest solar-plus-battery storage systems. Renewable energy is just part of everyday life here. The town stretches from northern Lee County into southern Charlotte County, with 18 communities and more planned.
Homes and Builders
Babcock Ranch offers condos, carriage and coach homes, villas, and single-family homes, from just over 1,100 to about 4,200 square feet. Builders include Christopher Alan, DR Horton, Lennar, Heritage Homes of Florida, and Pulte. Some neighborhoods are gated and some aren’t, and black aluminum fenced yards are allowed for most villas and single-family homes.
